Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise High-quality
  • 4-5 cloves Garlic Fresh, minced
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard (optional) Adds depth
  • To taste Salt Adjust as needed
  • To taste Black Pepper Freshly ground

Instructions

  • Mince the garlic finely and combine it with lemon juice in a small bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes to mellow the garlic’s intensity.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, garlic-lemon mixture, and Dijon mustard (if using).
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust the consistency by adding more lemon juice if too thick or more mayonnaise if too thin.
  • Transfer the aioli to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  • Serve chilled as a dip, spread, or sauce for various dishes.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
  • The aioli will develop a stronger garlic flavor over time.
  • Use as a dip for fries, spread on sandwiches, or drizzle over grilled seafood and vegetables.
